Create your account and sign in

There is no separate sign-up: your account is created the first time you sign in.

1. Open GarageApp and tap Sign In.
2. Choose how to sign in: Continue with Google, Continue with a passkey or Continue with email; on the iPhone there’s also the Apple button. The passkey works once you’ve created one: see Sign in with a passkey.
3. If you chose email, type your address and tap Send code.
4. Check your email. On the Verification code screen, the 6-digit code fills in from Mail and is checked as soon as it’s complete. You can also tap Verify.
5. The first time, Before you start appears: read the Terms of Use and the Privacy Policy and tap Accept and continue.

If the code doesn’t arrive, wait for Resend code to become available and tap it. If the app says Incorrect code, make sure it’s the latest one you received, or ask for a new one.

After you sign in, the app may offer Secure your data to lock it with Face ID. Turn it on there or later: see Lock the app with Face ID.

Sign out

1. On Home, tap your account button at the top right.
2. Tap your name to open Account.
3. At the bottom, tap Sign out and confirm.

On the web

At app.garageapp.dev you sign in with the same account: Continue with Apple, Continue with a passkey, or your address in Email or phone number and Send code. See Use GarageApp on the web.
