We didn’t find a page on the transfer or change of owner of a vehicle registered in Colonia, either in the Intendencia’s procedures or in the national procedures catalogue. We couldn’t confirm the requirements, the cost or where it’s done.
Ask the Intendencia, on 4522 7000: the Oficina Central is at the Palacio de Gobierno Departamental, Avenida General Flores 467, Colonia del Sacramento, open Monday to Friday, 12:15 to 17:00. The Dirección de Tránsito y Transporte is at Domingo Baqué 850, corner of Brasil, extension 130, [email protected], according to the Intendencia’s phones and addresses.
