Vehicle transfer in Salto
In Salto vehicle procedures are handled by the División Registro, at the Intendencia’s Oficinas Centrales. We didn’t find an official page with the transfer’s requirements or cost.

What we found
The Intendencia’s car and motorcycle registration page explains that the División’s procedures are booked on the online booking page: under Oficina/Trámite you choose Registro de Tránsito, which covers registration, re-registration, transfers and others. You pick the date and slot, fill in the form and go in person on the booked day. The booking page now asks you to log in with an Intendencia account.
What we didn’t find
The transfer’s requirements and cost aren’t on an official Salto page, neither the Intendencia’s nor the procedures catalogue. Ask the División Registro before you go.
