Driver’s license in Flores
The Intendencia de Flores publishes little online about the license: a 2021 requirements sheet and a booking in its procedures system.
Reviewed on 23 October 2026
Requirements
The Intendencia’s requirements sheet, a PDF created on 16/08/2021, asks for:
| Procedure | Categories | Requirements |
|---|---|---|
| First time | A, G1 and G2 | Photocopy of a valid ID card, valid tetanus vaccination, a vehicle with its registration card, the companion’s ID number and a professional stamp |
| Renewal | A, G1 and G2 | Photocopy of a valid ID card, valid tetanus vaccination, a professional stamp and the previous license or the police report |
| First time or category upgrade | B, C, D, E, F, H and G3 | Photocopy of a valid ID card, valid tetanus vaccination, a valid health card or blood and urine tests no more than 6 months old, a good conduct certificate (except for H), a professional stamp, a vehicle with its registration card and the companion’s ID number |
| Renewal | B, C, D, E, F, H and G3 | The same, with the previous licenses or the police report instead of the vehicle |
If the permit expired more than 2 years ago, your seniority counts but you take the theory and practical tests, with a vehicle with its registration card and the companion’s ID number. The theory test has 30 multiple choice questions on a computer; the study guides are on SUCIVE. The sheet says that from 30/08/2021 you must show up at 9:00.
Booking
The Intendencia’s online procedures system has a driver’s license booking, which you enter with your ID number and a password for the system. The procedure’s page says it’s under construction.
What we didn’t find
We didn’t find on an official page the cost of the license, the license office and its hours, or the duplicate. Given the sheet’s date, confirm everything with the Intendencia: Santísima Trinidad 597, Trinidad, phone 4364 2210, [email protected]. The contact page gives two opening hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30 to 14:30 at the top and 9:00 to 15:00 at the bottom.
The categories and their validity by age, the same across the country, are on the driver’s license page.

Your license, in the app
You scan the front and the back of your driver’s license and each category keeps its expiry date. The app reminds you before it expires, so you can book the renewal in time.
Free for up to 2 vehicles.
